This jam differs from many jalapeno spreads in that it is full of healthy nutritious fruit and not overloaded with sugar to make up for lack of natural flavor.  It combines the tartness and sweetness of tree-ripened apricots with the heat, spice and flavor contrast of jalapeno peppers.  A classic way to enjoy it is over cream cheese or another soft mild cheese along with crackers.  It also makes a wonderful glaze over chicken or pork or as an addition to marinades.
